While I was surfing the other day and clicked a link that apparently was connected to a Facebook post. After clicking the link, I got a pop-up window stating that it appeared I was locked out of my Facebook account and asked me if I wanted to go through the steps of reclaiming my account. So I did and successfully took control of my account again. But WTF.

They knew nothing had changed since Facebook locked me out to begin with couple of years ago. The only difference that happened was that Facebook finally offered the email address that I used to change me password to begin with. Originally, Facebook insisted on using a different email address that no longer existed.

For I was perfectly content in not having my Facebook account. Facebook said that after a few months, it would delete my account if I could not access it. LIARS!!!

If you come across my Facebook account, please ignore it. You will have better luck contacting me through USPS General Delivery than through Facebook. I will not participate with one of the worst companies ever created.

So, I thought I could have Facebook just send me a password reset link, which they did, instead of spending time trying to figure out which email address was the correct login ID for my account. That was a mistake. Because I sent the password reset request, and, I successfully was able to reset my password, Facebook then wanted me to confirm my identity with an email address I no longer had control of. All communications were with my primary free online email account which I do have control over; but Facebook insisted on trying to confirm my address with a completely different address from whenever I originally created my account, prior to all their added crap.

There is a way I can get into my account but it would cost me $$ and would have to provide Facebook with other information that I would in any other circumstance not be required to provide. So until then, I’m locked out of my Facebook account.

I was actually going to login to my Facebook account with the purpose of deactivating it but now I have no control over it at all.

This unfortunately is the very first official post. It’s sole purpose is to just add content to work with. This most might be updated. Perhaps it will be updated with a picture. Then again, it might just be deleted. Who knows?
